We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way~

Sleigh bells ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away, is the bluebird
Here to stay, is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say are you married
We'll say No Man
But you can do the job
When you're in town

Later on
We'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we've made
Walking in a winter wonderland

Sleigh bells ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away, is the bluebird
Here to stay, is a new bird
He's singing a song
As we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman
Until the other kiddies knock him down

When it snows
Ain't it thrilling
Though your nose, is a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland

before the climate warming (some 5ya) we had winters like that - the phenomenal thing about such a winter scene is that (the snow has fallen) so the nature is still and silent and on its own weight the the patches (ripples and ribbons) of snow fall don the branches every now and then - the air is fresh an freezing - makes you vivid - and the snow crunches below your footsteps - making you feel the vastness of the surounding forest - because theres no leaves on the trees to soften the sounds - so the crunching echoes back from deep inside the forest - funnily kind of warming sensation to realise being alone making sounds in a vast wilderness - in an enormous frozen hall of winter fairytale
