A game of monochrome.

We've all felt the neon & pastels euphoria in certain times when it becomes a hitting trend in the fashion industry. Dozens followed, but also dozens ignored it. Not all people have the courage and confidence to use the color. So that's why we always come back to the everlasting and timeless color, black and white. No one has ever had problems being in these colors, because it gives a comforting and confidenting kind of feeling. No wonder its glory never fades.  You could dress up as anything with anykind of style with it. There are no boundaries nor lines. What's fun about it is that whatever accessory color you insert in a dominant black & white look, it'll stand out. And that's what i always love doing, matching neon or metallic accessories in this typical kind of look! It makes the whole look alive by wearing accessories in other colors, so the look won't look too boring if you do want to create more variations to it.  When i go to special events like parties, weddings, or shows, i always see people dressed up elegantly and beautifully in today's modern style trends, and black or white has always been people's "safe" choice. But i imagined something different, what if people dressed up a little back through time to special occassions like parties or weddings in black & white. We don't need to go too far back to the 20s, but just going back through the 80s and 90s. The iconic look back then still fits in without making you look weird in front of many people's eyes. Infact, some people will see it as something creative. Let's try it!

When you want to pull off a vintage look, white lace will never go wrong. That's why i wanted the lace top to be the main character of this whole look by pairing it up with all black, while the peterpan collar necklace completed this preppy 80s inspired look. I brought in a little hinch of neon from the necklace to make this look looks funner.

When i think of grunge, i imagine it as a rebel. But you can still be well dressed in a rebel way. The key items of this era that i brought into this look are tartan prints, leather jacket, and metallic details. The metallic details itself are from the accessories. So you could always wear a long dress but still be grungy.

A girl can live with only a few pieces of black or white clothes because of its flexibility when paired with anything. I only have a few black & white cloth that i wear oftenly, but with so many different styles. But i do get faced with some problems where yellow stain or white marks start to appear on the armpit area. It really ruined the appearance of the top and also the look. So i figured out some ways to prevent something like that to happen again, like always use whitening for white clothes, scrub the armpit area correctly, and use the right deodorant. A deodorant like Rexona Invisible Dry would be the right pick! Because it protects your clothes from yellow stain and white marks, so you don't need to worry  about a thing anymore.  Here i want to challenge you by creating your very own creative style by joining Rexona's photo contest HERE or  HERE !
 Goodluck!
